The head office at Madrid is the youngest of the group and it was founded in 1992 to supply Key Telephone Systems to Telefonica de España, through its subsidiary Telefonica Sistemas, S.A.. At present, NEXTEL Spain is the main office of NEXTEL Group, and is providing services to all the countries where Telefonica’s Group is operating.

     In 1994, NEXTEL was choosen as an official supplier of Telefónica de España due to the success of DKDA (DKX Plus) Key Telephone System which were included into the General Catalogue of Products and Services of Telefónica de España.
